Large Specialty Timbers

These specialty cedar timbers are sourced from a mill that has the ability to cut long lengths to suit your particular requirements.  Their formula for success is based on an experienced work team that is responsive to the customer’s needs. The mill’s #1 goal is to provide the end user with an exceptional product.

Mill Capabilities:

• Appearance grade cedar timbers
• Available in clear, #1, STK, FOHC
• S4S cedar timbers up to 12”x19”
• Oversize and long length cedar timbers
• Small orders accepted

The high quality cedar fiber available to the mill makes them the ideal source when you are looking for a high-line product.  They can also produce timbers over 40 feet in length, and up to 30 inches wide.

Custom Turned Poles

These specialty cedar poles are sourced from a mill that has the ability to cut long lengths to suit your particular requirements.  Their formula for success is based on an experienced work team that is responsive to the customer’s needs.  The mill’s #1 goal is to provide the end user with an exceptional product.

Mill Capabilities:

• Western Red Cedar lathe turned poles (columns)
• Ability to also produce poles in Douglas Fir
• “Select Knotty” appearance grade cedar
• Cedar poles up to 18 inches in diameter
• Cedar poles up to 32 feet in length
• Ability to produce clear cedar lathe turned columns
• Small orders accepted

Maibec’s cedar strips are engineered to be a more efficient way of installing shingles, without compromising the look or traditional integrity of the home. The systematic design guarantees alignment of keyway spacing over three successive courses, so shingles go up fast and look great.

Split Rail Fencing

This product line comes from the picturesque Robson Valley, located in the central interior of British Columbia in McBride.

The wood fiber utilized is dead standing, over mature, blown down Western Red Cedar; normally destined for slash burns. This fiber is ideal for the value added industry of split cedar posts and rails.

The mill installed a hammer hog mulching system that enables them to sell waste product as cedar landscape bedding. This equates to 100% utilization of the wood fiber.

The mill’s goal is to provide attractive, environmentally safe, long lasting, quality Western Red Cedar post and rail and flower fencing products to the end user.

Split Rail Fencing Items Available:

1. 2 rail cedar line, end and corner posts
2. 3 rail cedar line, end and corner posts
3. Split cedar rails in 8’ & 10’ lengths
